Power

24 solar panels with 24 batteries of 2V and 1320 Ah each are available for power generation. The inverter is designed for 5KW/h and allows peaks of up to 10KW for short periods.

If the sun goes on vacation for a few days, a 15KW diesel generator automatically charges the batteries. This also has a 380 V power connection.

Water

For irrigation and water for the horses, there is a ½ share for the water purchase right of 4800 m3/year.

The domestic water is delivered from the town by truck and stored in an underground cistern with a capacity of approx. 30 m3. A pump feeds the water from the cistern into the water circuit of the buildings.

Although it is municipal drinking water, we also purify the water in the house with activated carbon and UV filters.

Hot water

The central heating system provides hot water in the main building and the apartment. Gas instantaneous water heaters are installed in the guest house and in the bathroom by the caravan.

1. Main building

The main building has an area of approx. 145 m2. The terrace leads into a bright dining area with an integrated kitchen with an extra-wide fan-assisted gas hob. A corner wood-burning stove, which ensures cozy evenings in winter, has an integrated pizza compartment.

Adjacent to this is another kitchen inside. A staircase leads to the second floor, which is currently equipped with a small office, but can also be used for other purposes, e.g. as a bedroom.

Next to the indoor kitchen is a separate pantry with plenty of storage space.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower and toilet. Next to it is the master bedroom, as well as an open living area with fireplace and access to the terrace.

Between the main house and the apartment there is a separate entrance to the bodega, which is currently used as a storage and laundry room.

2. Appartement

The apartment has an area of approx. 55 m2 and is attached to the main house. It has its own entrance directly from the spacious terrace.

It is fully equipped with a kitchen, dining area and fireplace, a small living room, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower and WC.

The apartment is also equipped with central heating and has infrared heating in the bathroom.

3. Gutes house

The guest house with approx. 45 m2 of living space and a valid license for rental is located away from the main area and is perfect for vacation rentals.

The cozy vacation home is equipped with two bedrooms, a living/dining area with kitchen and fireplace, as well as a bathroom with shower. The guest house also has central heating and German and Spanish television.

It has its own large, fenced-in terrace of approx. 50m2 and an excellent view of the surrounding countryside and the approx. 150 m2 pool and sunbathing area.

Pool

The pool measures approx 5 x 10m.

There is an outdoor shower opposite the pool steps, and a spacious terrace below the guest house invites you to chill out. A pergola provides shade in summer.

Stables and paddocks

The open stables offer comfortable space for a maximum of 6 horses or other anmials. The stable is provided with a REGA number. The compartments can be divided into 3 boxes with crossbars, and there are two separate, brick-built boxes.

A separate, open-plan, brick-built room is partly used for storage and is equipped with racks and a table, providing ample space for storing grooming items, supplements and tools such as files etc.

The tack room, adjacent to the stable, offers space for the various utensils and equipment.

The grounds include a run directly in front of the covered stable, as well as a lower and an upper paddock. The surrounding area is currently fenced and the horses love their additional spacious run.

The water for the horses is filtered (sediment, activated carbon and UV filter.

Chicken coop/aviary & surroundings

The chicken coop with integrated aviary is fully fenced and can be illuminated. The water is also filtered.

The chicken house consists of two parts and has electricity and light. Feed can be stored in the room on the right, the laying boxes are raised on the left and the floor offers sufficient space if the chickens have to stay inside.

There is a small olive tree in the henhouse. The spacious design offers all kinds of variety with bamboo tubes, hanging branches and ropes for canaries, cockatiels and other feathered friends.

In addition, there is an old, disused caravan with a bed, a sofa, a hearth, a cupboard, a table and lockable boxes. The caravan is currently used as a workshop and for storing tools.

Right next to the caravan is a separate bathroom with shower/WC, ideal for guests or campers who want to spend a few days relaxing in their tents in the shade of the pine trees.

There is also a covered carport (approx. 36m2) right in front; wood for the stoves is currently stored to the side.

Above the stable by the riding arena there is another carport (approx. 60m2), high enough for a tractor, camper van or similar.

Summary

 

Finca for animal lovers
Animal lovers have plenty of space and accommodation for animals on this finca; for horses there is a spacious open stable, two paddocks and a riding arena; many paths lead through the countryside where you can go for a wonderful ride.

For chickens and birds there is also a chicken run with integrated aviary, completely fenced and roofed, as well as an indoor chicken coop with feeding chamber, filtered water connection (coarse sediment and activated carbon filter), so that they can get their fresh breakfast egg right outside the door. Dogs and cats can run around freely on the property and explore nature.

Power supply & water
The entire complex is powered by a solar system with 24 panels and 24 batteries (+ inverter), which works without any problems on over 300 days of sunshine a year and if it is not enough, there is a power generator (silent runner with high voltage connection).

The finca also has ½ water share with the right to purchase 4800 m3 of agricultural water per year, which is of course essential for supplying the animals and plants. All the plants on the estate are equipped with irrigation pipes.

A cistern with a capacity of approx. 30,000 liters is available for the domestic water for all the residential buildings.

TV and Internet
You don’t have to do without internet and TV either, as this is also possible in the countryside via satellite (Starlink is also offered). The main house and guest house also have TV antennas to receive Spanish channels.

Heating
There is also an oil-fired central heating system that supplies all the residential buildings and also provides hot water in the main building and apartment. In the guest house and in the bathroom by the caravan, the hot water is provided by instantaneous water heaters.

And that’s not all
There is also a caravan on the property, with a sofa, bed, oven/stove and hot water, as well as a separate attached toilet with shower and two carports. The caravan is currently used as a workshop.

Quick access to the city
In about 20 minutes you can reach either the coastal town of Aguilas, where you can find many shops, doctors, schools, restaurants/bars and of course beautiful beaches and bays, or on the other side, in about 30 minutes, is the town of Lorca, where you can also find everything for your daily needs.
